Nielsen Law Coronavirus Response from Austin Estate Planning Lawyer Liz Nielsen

Austin Wills Trusts Probate Attorney Liz Nielsen Law

Dear Clients & Friends,

Here at Nielsen Law, we help families find peace of mind by planning for the unexpected. We are here to help during the Coronavirus pandemic and during future periods of uncertainty. Planning for the unexpected is exactly what we do.

I am writing to you today to update you with Nielsen Law’s action plan in light of the escalating spread of the Coronavirus. Nielsen Law is committed to keeping our clients and staff safe and healthy during the Coronavirus outbreak. In order to minimize the number of people going through our office, we are moving as many meetings as possible to video/telephone conference. This will allow clients to meet with me via video/phone from the safety of their own home.

We will continue to send further information on our procedures as this develops, all of which will be posted on our blog, so please check back for updates.

Our Current Policies:

  • Our staff will continue to work normal hours (8:00 am – 4:00 pm), so please feel free to give us a call or send an email as you would normally do.
  • If you have an in-person meeting scheduled (except for signings), you’ll receive a call or email from me or our office administrator to explain the transition to a video/phone meeting.
  • If you have a signing meeting scheduled, you will receive a call from me to discuss the best way to proceed. We do have options for virtual signing meetings when necessary.
  • We will be transitioning to a work-from-home model for some staff members. Please be patient with us during this time.

We encourage you to support small businesses during this trying time. Be smart & practical – stay home if possible, stay away from crowds, implement social distancing, wash your hands, don’t touch your face… we’re all in this together…we will get through this.

Please know that we are here to help during this unexpected time. We are confident that we will be able to continue to provide a high level of service to all of our clients, and we look forward to helping families find peace of mind by planning for the unexpected. If there is any way we can help, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Stay well,

Liz
